Caring for your flowers.
To gain extra life and enjoyment from your flowers, follow these simple instructions.
For Bouquets
For Arrangements
Water daily so that the oasis (green floral foam) never dries out as this is the flower's water supply.
Hot Weather
When flowers are exposed to heat, they transpire at a greater rate than at low temperatures, transpiration is basically what causes ageing in most plants. The cooler the room or location they are displayed in, the longer they will last.
Air Conditioning
Usually with air conditioning (especialy in large offices or stores), fresh flowers tend to dry out very quickly. Make sure that you keep the water topped up in the arrangement or vase and even the occasional spray of water directly onto the blooms will help.
NOTE: The stamens from Lilies can stain quite badly. You can remove these if you wish and it will not cause the flower to die. By placing a tissue in your hand you can gently pull these stamens off and discard. Handy Tip: If you do get the pollen onto your clothes or tablecloths, you can gently place a piece of sticky tape (sticky side down) onto the pollen and it will pick it up without smudging!

For Bouquets
- Clean vases with bleach and rinse thoroughly, as bacteria harms flowers.
- Cut the stems on a slant with a knife or scissors and remove any leaves or foliage that will be submerged in water as this causes the water to slime
- Change the water every few days
- Add the supplied Flower Preservative to the water each time you change it
